Welcome to the scVerse 2024 conference workshop on Data visualization and interactive documentation.

Abstract

Here you will go through some different ways of projecting single cell data. You start with PCA-based projections, then move to geometry-based projections and diagnostic ways of choosing the method which matches best your data. At the end, you will

  • understand briefly the difference between modeling distances and geometry
  • know how to apply the methods with scanpy
  • be able to compare the methods and their distortions to choose the one fitting best your data
  • create interactive plots for your webpage documentation
